We are delighted to announce a significant enhancement to the insurance-backed warranty protection we provide to our customers — completely free of charge.
As of today, all new installations are covered under the updated Small-Scale Renewable Energy Warranty Insurance, fully compliant with the latest MCS Financial Protection Product (FPP) requirements.
This update represents a major step forward in customer protection and further demonstrates our ongoing commitment to quality workmanship, accountability and long-term care.
What Has Changed?
Under the new scheme, customers now benefit from:
Extended Minimum Cover – Now 6 Years
The minimum warranty term has increased from 2 years to 6 years. This substantial extension provides long-term reassurance and added value for your investment.
Defective Design Included
Cover now extends to include defective design, providing broader protection beyond workmanship alone.
Continued Protection if an Installer Ceases to Trade
In the unlikely event that an MCS-certified installer ceases trading or fails to remedy a defect following the outcome of the MCS ADR process, protection remains in place.
Backed by an A-Rated Insurer
The policy is underwritten by a financially strong A-rated insurer, offering additional confidence and security.
